Meet and Greet Events

Meet and Greet the Men

Of course, the feeder contests were great fun.  You can read about them here.

Now we are enjoying the Meet and Greet Events.  I don’t hear about them all, but as I do, I’ll tell you about them here.  This is not an endorsement of preference for any candidate.

Meet and Greet the Bootblacks

Sunday Boot Brunch & Open Leather Lounge, a monthly event held by the SF Bay Area Bootlab at SF Catalyst, is a great place to meet and get to know the community’s bootblacks — and if you ARE a bootblack, it’s even greater!

The new boot stand at the SF Eagle is also a fine place to hang; last Sunday Mr. SF Leather was there, sporting a new leather apron.  He promises to wear less under it come spring.

I’ll try to keep you posted on other opportunities to meet the people who are even now turning in their applications to be San Francisco Bootblack 2018!
