KinkBNB

The Leather Alliance Weekend is proud to have KinkBNB as a bronze level sponsor. Without their generous support, this weekend would not be possible.

KinkBNB.com

A Vibrant, Worldwide, Human Community
Sex is part of human nature, and cultures surrounding sex have been around since before written history. With the melting pot of humanity brought about and accelerated by globalization, there is no better way to discover what the locals do than to get out there and travel. Sex tourism is a growing trend, and we view our hosts are not only our valued partners but as authorities on the local sex positive scene.

Local Color
When you’re on vacation, it’s good to know that your host has the same dirty mind as you. We encourage our guests and hosts to interact to share knowledge about local amenities, such as:

  • Local Nightclubs and Private Clubs
  • Local Adult Toy Stores
  • Local Restaurants
  • Local Clothing Stores (adult or otherwise)
  • Local Services (massage, hair, manicurist, etc.)

The Tools to Find Your Kink
Here at KinkBNB we strive to help you find your kink. We’re constantly improving our website, adding amenities and features. Some of the latest features to KinkBNB are:

  • Request a property – Going somewhere but can’t find a place there? Put the call out and make sure hosts in that area know they could be making money.
  • Search – Search based on location and time is cool, but we’ve added searching by vacation type – Romantic, Kinky, Getaway, and more.
  • Improved Reviews
  • Your KinkBNB Wallet – A comprehensive system to easily manage transactions between Guests, Hosts, and KinkBNB.
  • Make money- As we roll out more options, future offers enable guests and hosts alike the chance to make money through affiliate programs and referrals.

SF girls of Leather

The Leather Alliance Weekend is proud to have http://sfgol.org as a community sponsor. Without their generous support, this weekend would not be possible.

http://SFgoL.org/

WHO WE ARE
We are a group of self-identified Leathergirls. Membership is not limited by race, creed, orientation or gender; however, an identification of Leathergirl is essential. A girl-heart is an individual self-identity. San Francisco girls of Leather is a unique and powerful group of individuals — our solidarity and commonality is found in our understanding that the definition of Leathergirl involves who you are and not just how you play.

WHAT WE DO
SFgoL holds monthly meetings, communicates via discussion board, does outreach at Leather events throughout the Bay Area, and volunteers for a variety of non-profit organizations.

Our mission is twofold:

To provide camaraderie, and a safe space to any individual who identifies as a Leathergirl.
To provide community service within & outside of the Bay Area Leather Community at large.

The Exiles

The Leather Alliance Weekend is proud to have The Exiles as a community sponsor. Without their generous support, this weekend would not be possible.

http://theexiles.org/

The Exiles is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational group for women who have a positive personal interest in BDSM. The group provides educational events where women with all levels of experience will have a safe place to meet, explore and share information about safety, play techniques and resources, and connect with the leather community locally and nationally

We are comprised solely of volunteers – from the officers to the presenters. Many thanks to the people who have worked to make the Exiles YOUR club!

The 15 Association

The Leather Alliance Weekend is proud to have The 15 Association as a community sponsor. Without their generous support, this weekend would not be possible.

http://the15association.org/

We Are…

  • A social and sexual fraternity for men who engage in BDSM.
  • The longest-standing gay male BDSM Association in the western USA.
  • Active in the San Francisco BDSM community with play parties, an annual run (Boot Camp), social events and charitable fund raising.
  • Premier BDSM Players who mentor by example.
  • Safe, Sane and Consensual.
  • A volunteer Association with over 175 members, coordinated by a Fraternal Committee.
  • Open to members and invited guests with a government-issued male ID who are at least 21 years of age.

Ms. San Francisco Leather

The Leather Alliance Weekend is proud to have Ms. San Francisco Leatheras a community sponsor. Without their generous support, this weekend would not be possible.

Ms. SF Leather

http://mssfleather.org/

The Mission of the Ms. San Francisco Leather contest is to create and maintain an annual contest/event that (1) celebrates our diverse and dynamic Greater San Francisco Bay Area leather/kink/fetish community, and (2) raises money to support the work of relatively small non-profit organizations. Each year at the Ms. San Francisco Leather contest, an esteemed panel of judges selects a leatherwoman to represent our community. This representative is a leatherwoman who exemplifies the principles of honor, service and community commitment.

Education—The Story of YOU: Giving and Getting a Great Oral History – with pup Spike
Hosted by Leathermen’s Discussion Group
Saturday, March 5, 1:30pm @ Center for Sex and Culture (1349 Mission Street, San Francisco)
Tickets: $12 (save with a Weekend Pass) • RSVP on FacebookDownload the SF Leather App

How do we preserve the richness and wisdom of the leather community? Our stories are worth capturing and celebrating, and one way to make that happen is through oral histories. In this workshop we’ll explore and practice a number of easy techniques, including

  • What it takes to conduct an excellent interview, or be a great interviewee
  • How to structure an interview and craft questions
  • Easy ways of recording and editing the conversation (audio and/or video)

Knowing who we are as a community is key to keeping our tribe strong and vibrant, and helping new generations find their way. Everyone has a story to tell, and anyone can help record these stories for the future.

About the presenter: pup Spike has been active in the leather communities of San Francisco and South Florida since 2003. He founded goLEATHER, a Fort Lauderdale-based organization to help millennials explore the leather community and support them as they came out into leather. Spike has a passion for documenting personal stories, including interviewing leather folk and preserving their oral histories. He now lives in San Francisco: a great place for a wolf like him to run, grow, howl and breed. And he is active in K9 Unit, a Bay Area organizations for pups of all kinds and those who love them. Spike is the collared pup of Joe Gallagher, IML 1996, and beta to his Alpha, Wolf Freed.

Making the Connection was an educational concept introduced in 2012 by Mr SF Leather Darren Bondy.

imgresThis year,  Leathermen’s Discussion Group is producing the seminars for LAW 2016. Founded in 1996, SFLDG has an educational mission with a once-a-month presentation of a kink/fetish/leather/BDSM skill or topical discussion, interview, or panel relevant to kinky guys and their allies. Every month, 60-150 people join us for 2 hours to meet new people, learn, and have fun. Come with a friend, or drop in on your own. With a huge audience of the most interesting folks in the Bay Area, we tend to be the best place to meet and socialize and hang out with other kinksters. You’ll be welcome.

Those of us living in what was once called Alta California tend to forget that until 1848, we were a territory of Mexico. In fact, California was under Spanish and Mexican control twice as along as it has been one of the United States (which you would expect to blur our perspective on who the “unauthorized aliens” are).

But even in California, despite the ubiquity of porn sites like NakedPapis.com and gay icons like Ricky Martin, there was no visible, culturally Latino presence in the leather community before this decade. That such a presence not only exists now but has been enlarged and embraced is owing in no small part to a group of Southern California men equally comfortable in clown make-up and leather jockstraps, working tirelessly to support gay, leather, children’s and Latino community causes — and to have beautifully sexy, proud, fun, committed leather lives.

Join us for a conversation with four of these hot amazing men about their histories, accomplishments, mission, how they work and how they play, moderated by Patrick Mulcahey

Leo IriarteLEO IRIARTE founded Payasos-L.A. in 2010. The very next year, seven of the nine contestants for Mr Los Angeles Leather were Latino, and Leo (competing as Mr Regiment 2011) became the first Latino to take home the title. Leo is a member of the Regiment of the Black & Tans, a Los Angeles men’s uniform club, and is also founder of Brothers In Need, for the support of community members in difficult times.

Esteban BartholoESTEBAN BARTHOLO, Mr Bullet Leather 2015, has received multiple Southland honors for community service. Alongside his roles with Payasos, Brothers In Need, and the Black & Tans, he is co-producer of “Clown Fucker” with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and active with OUTfest, the Tom of Finland Foundation, California Men who Enjoy Nudism (CMEN), Bienestar/Fuerza Positiva, AIDS Project L.A., and Autism Walk/Autism Speaks. Originally from Medellin, Colombia, he is famous for his nude desert hikes, and loves wax play, water sports, bondage, piercing, CBT, dancing, and Burning Man.

Fernando BuenrostroFERNANDO BUENROSTRO moved to the U.S. from Mexico in 2008, at the age of 19. His introduction to the Payasos came in 2013, when Esteban Bartholo responded to his social media post about wanting to make a real contribution to Los Angeles community life despite being an undocumented resident. Attracted to leather since boyhood, Fernando wore a leather harness for the first time at Los Angeles Leather Pride that year and has never looked back.

Justin Tate EmerickJUSTIN TATE EMERICK, a.k.a. Payaso Chipa Guazu, began his career with the Peace Corps in Paraguay as a Rural Health Volunteer. An LGBT activist from an early age — he is a proud gay Eagle Scout — he founded an anti-Proposition 8 organization called Roots of Equality and produced an interactive event on L.A.’s pre-Stonewall LGBT history. Justin is a friend of Avatar-L.A., enjoying bondage, flogging, and exploring new kinks. He was Mr Regiment 2013, Mr Los Angeles Leather 2013, and is Community Outreach Coordinator for the U.S. Department of Labor.

Peter Feliciano

Peter“Every now and then there is a young artist where one says, “This person has talent and is going to go places with it.” The first time I heard Peter Feliciano’s voice, at the Castro/Upper Market 2013 summer sunset series, I said, “Wow!”

Peter’s voice conveys gentle power. His magnificent storytelling skills, with their unique twist of clear understanding, are evident. I felt his soul, and it was filled with inspiration and passion. I look forward to watching where this special artist will go with his vocal and musical talents. This is why I am extremely excited to share his personal story with all of you.” – read more about Peter…
