Matthew Bunch – Mr. Sacramento Bolt Leather 2014
Matthew Bunch was born and raised in Avenal, California and has lived in Sacramento since 2006. Although interested in leather and fetish since childhood, he discovered the Washington, DC Eagle by accident and later found the SF Eagle and the rest, as they say, is history. After moving to Sacramento, Matt became a part of the Sacramento Valley Leathercorps and became director of Sacramento Valley Heat Leather Festival in 2011.
In 2014, Matt served at Mr. Sacramento Bolt Leather, representing his community at International Mister Leather. He was later elected Emperor 41 of the Court of the Great Northwest Imperial Empire (CGNIE). He has also done work with Equality California, the GLBT Local Officials Caucus, Mr. Friendly, and other local, statewide, and national organizations.
When Matt’s not busy at work protecting and promoting LGBT rights at the state capitol, he can be found traveling the nation to raise funds to support the preservation of LGBT history. Wherever he is, he is sure to be found at the nearest leather bar.
